Quick answers
Help.
Most games should start in under a minute. Here is the useful stuff when they do not.
Host or join a game
- To host, choose a game, pick a deck and score, then create the room. Share the four-character code or the QR code with everyone playing.
- To join, tap Join with a code, enter the code and your player name, then join the room.
- Online rooms need an internet connection. The host and players can use iPhone, Android, or the web together.
- Standard games do not require an account. Accounts keep web promo unlocks and saved custom packs together.
Plane Mode
Plane Mode is a Pro feature for nearby play when the internet is not available. Gameplay travels directly among supported nearby devices instead of through GamePack servers. Follow all crew instructions and only enable Wi-Fi or Bluetooth when your airline permits it.
Nearby compatibility depends on the phones, operating systems, and radios in the group. Routerless mixed iPhone and Android support can vary. The compatibility message in the app is the source of truth for the devices currently in your room.
Pro, purchases, and promo codes
- On iPhone, use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that bought Pro.
- On Android, use Restore Purchases with the Google Play account that bought Pro.
- Store purchases are handled by Apple or Google and may not automatically transfer to another store or to a web account.
- Web promo and access codes can be entered on the Account page.
- A GamePack-issued one-time code can also be entered in the iPhone or Android Pro screen. It must be verified online, can be claimed only once, and then stays with the installation that redeemed it. If the issuer asks for the displayed Promo claim ID, share it only with that issuer; the ID lets them arm the code briefly for your device.
Common fixes
- Room not found: confirm every character in the code and ask the host to keep the lobby open.
- Cannot connect: check that everyone has internet access, turn off a restrictive VPN, and try the room code again.
- Nearby room missing: keep the host app open, allow the requested local network or nearby-device permission, and move the phones closer together.
- Purchase missing: confirm the store account, reconnect to the internet, then use Restore Purchases.
Safety, reports, and blocking
Where a Report or Block control is available, use it on the player or content involved. Blocking controls your immediate experience; reporting gives GamePack context to review a serious violation. If a report cannot be submitted, email contact@thesis.do. Do not include passwords, payment details, private room capabilities, or unrelated personal information.
Contact support
Email contact@thesis.do for account, purchase, safety, or accessibility help. Include the device type and a short description of what happened. Never send a password or a private room capability.
Report a bug
A useful report includes your device model, operating system, GamePack version, the steps that triggered the problem, and a screenshot when it is safe to share one.
